General Description

The Neware CT-4008 15V3A Battery Testing System is a high-accuracy multi-channel battery cycler designed for electrochemical performance testing of lithium-ion batteries and other rechargeable cells. The CT-4008 platform, first introduced in 2008, has become one of the most widely adopted battery testing systems in research laboratories and battery development facilities worldwide.

This system provides eight independent channels, each equipped with independent constant-current and constant-voltage sources controlled through dedicated computer software. With ±0.1% FS voltage accuracy and micro-ampere level capability, it supports a wide range of battery characterisation tests including DC internal resistance (DCIR), dQ/dV analysis, and three-electrode electrochemical testing.

The CT-4008 architecture consists of a main testing unit and a communication controller known as a middle machine. One middle machine can control up to ten main testing units, enabling scalable battery testing infrastructure for expanding laboratories and production testing environments.

What is a middle machine?
The middle machine acts as the communication interface between the computer and the battery cyclers. At least one middle machine is required to operate the testing system.

How many testing units can one middle machine control?
A single middle machine can control up to ten CT-series testing units.

Can an existing middle machine be reused with new cyclers?
Compatibility depends on the version of the middle machine. Older versions may not support newer systems.

Is the same middle machine used for all cycler types?
Yes. The same type of middle machine can connect multiple cycler models such as 5V10mA, 5V20mA, 5V50mA, 5V6A, and 5V12A systems.

Returns Policy
