High-purity yttria-stabilised zirconia vacuum grinding jars designed for planetary ball milling under vacuum or inert gas environments.


General Description

The Cell Lab Zirconia Vacuum Milling Jar Series is engineered for high-purity grinding and milling applications where oxidation, contamination and airborne exposure must be minimised during processing.

Manufactured from yttria-stabilised zirconium oxide (ZrO₂) and protected by a durable 304 stainless steel vacuum jacket, these vacuum milling jars provide excellent abrasion resistance, chemical stability and sealing performance for sensitive laboratory milling applications.

These jars are specifically designed for vacuum milling or inert gas grinding environments, making them ideal for oxygen-sensitive materials, battery materials, metal powders, ceramics and advanced functional materials.

Each vacuum jar assembly includes the grinding jar, vacuum lid, silicone sealing gasket and stainless steel vacuum sleeve. Multiple capacities from 50ml to 1000ml are available to support laboratory-scale R&D and pilot-scale material preparation.

  • Special clamp required: These vacuum milling jars require a dedicated clamp for compatibility with planetary ball mills. Please contact us before ordering to confirm compatibility with your equipment.

  • Roller mill compatibility: An optional stainless steel sleeve can be added to convert the jar for rotary mill (roller mill) applications. Please contact us for specific requirements and compatibility details.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
