FAQ

Q1: What advantages does ZAL-32 offer over glass beads?
A: ZAL-32 delivers higher wear resistance, greater impact energy due to its higher density, and longer service life; though cost is higher, the total cost of ownership is often lower than with glass beads.

Q2: How to choose bead size for ZAL-32?
A: Use smaller bead sizes (≤ 1.20 mm) for fine dispersion and inks; use coarser ones (≥ 3.00 mm) for bulk grinding, feed material, or coarse particulates.

Q3: Can ZAL-32 beads handle high-energy milling or high RPM mills?
A: Yes. Their hardness and density make them well suited for planetary mills and stirred media mills; monitor for heat buildup and ensure jar compatibility.

Q4: Are there any risk of contamination or chemical issues?
A: Ceramic composition is chemically inert under most milling conditions. For very sensitive applications (e.g. biotech), ensure beads are clean and avoid excessive thermal or pH stress.

Q5: What is the expected lifespan of ZAL-32 beads?
A: With proper usage (correct loading, avoiding overloading, keeping milling within recommended RPM, periodic inspection), ZAL-32 beads significantly outlast glass or lower density ceramic beads.
