Q1: What is the function of this membrane in a zinc-air battery?
It controls oxygen entry to the cathode while blocking liquid electrolyte from escaping or contaminating the air side.
Q2: Can it be reused after testing?
For consistent results, Cell Lab recommends single-use or limited reuse depending on exposure duration and chemical contact.
Q3: Is the membrane electrically conductive?
Yes. The carbon component enhances surface conductivity for improved electrode interaction.
Q4: How should it be stored?
Store in a dry, dust-free environment below 40 °C to preserve porosity and hydrophobic properties.
Q5: Is it compatible with other metal-air systems?
Yes. It is also suitable for aluminium-air, magnesium-air, and other oxygen-dependent electrochemical devices.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
