Cell Lab Split Type Electrical Cold Isostatic Press (CIP) [65T–150T, Ø50–80 mm Vessel]

High-Pressure Electrical CIP Systems for Powder Metallurgy, Ceramics & Battery R&D

The Cell Lab Split Type Electrical Cold Isostatic Press (CIP) series is designed for high-precision powder compaction, applying uniform hydrostatic pressure up to 300 MPa. Unlike uniaxial presses, CIP compacts powders from all directions, ensuring homogeneous, crack-free, and distortion-resistant green bodies ideal for advanced ceramics, powder metallurgy, and battery research.

Compared with manual CIP, these electrical models provide programmable pressurisation, automatic holding, and controlled pressure release, ensuring improved accuracy, repeatability, and safety for high-tonnage applications.

Key Features

  • Electrical pressurisation system – Delivers accurate and stable pressure with programmable settings.

  • Programmable cycle – Automatic pressurisation, timed holding, and controlled pressure release.

  • High chamber pressure – Supports isostatic pressures up to 300 MPa for ceramics, metals, and composites.

  • Large sample capacity – Accommodates vessels from Ø50 mm to Ø80 mm, with sample heights up to 150 mm.

  • Safe & durable design – Split-type structure with plexiglass safety shield for enhanced operator protection.

FAQ

Q1: What is the advantage of electrical CIP over manual CIP?
A: Electrical CIP provides programmable control, higher accuracy, and suitability for large-tonnage pressing.

Q2: What is the maximum isostatic pressure?
A: Both models support chamber pressures up to 300 MPa.

Q3: What sample sizes are supported?
A: The 65T model supports samples up to Ø50 × 150 mm; the 150T model supports samples up to Ø80 × 150 mm.

Q4: Can the pressure cycle be automated?
A: Yes. Pressurisation, holding, and pressure release are fully programmable.

Q5: What industries use split-type electrical CIP?
A: It is widely used in powder metallurgy, ceramics, advanced battery research, and pilot production of dense billets.
