Cell Lab Split Type Electric Heated Lab Press [40T, 300 °C, 400 × 400 mm Plates]

High-Tonnage Heated Press with Precision Temperature & Pressure Control

The Cell Lab 40-Ton Split Type Electric Heated Lab Press is designed for heated pressing of polymers, ceramic powders, and electrode/membrane films. Equipped with dual 400 × 400 mm flat heating plates capable of reaching up to 300 °C, it ensures precise and uniform heating. Each plate is independently controlled by digital temperature controllers with ±0.1 °C accuracy.

Compared with manual heated lab presses, this electric hydraulic system enables faster pressing and automatic pressure replenishment, making it highly suitable for large-tonnage applications. Optional water-cooling jackets (with external chiller) provide rapid cooling capability, extending application versatility. This unit can also be used as a compact laminator for polymer films.

Key Features

  • High tonnage capacity – Supports up to 40 tons for demanding applications.

  • Large heating plates – Dual 400 × 400 mm plates with precise temperature control.

  • Electric hydraulic system – Provides fast pressing and automatic pressure compensation.

  • Programmable press cycle – Programmed pressurisation, pressure holding, and timed release.

  • Optional rapid cooling – Configurable with water chiller for faster plate cooling.

FAQ

Q1: What is the maximum heating temperature?
A: Both models can reach up to 300 °C.

Q2: What is the advantage of the electric system over manual hydraulic presses?
A: It enables faster pressing speed and automatic pressure replenishment, especially useful for long holding times.

Q3: Do I need to purchase a water chiller separately?
A: Yes, the with chiller version (CL0781B) includes the integration setup, but the chiller unit is sold separately.

Q4: Can this press be used inside a glove box?
A: No, due to its size and cooling requirements, it is not suitable for glove box use.

Q5: What is included with the purchase?
A: The press unit, dual heating plates, and digital temperature controllers. Pellet dies and chillers are optional accessories.
