Cell Lab Single Point Pneumatic Welding Machine [For Cylindrical Battery Tab Welding, 220V / 50Hz]

Precision pneumatic spot welder for nickel tab attachment in cylindrical cell R&D applications

The Cell Lab Single Point Pneumatic Welding Machine is a high-precision tab welding system developed for cylindrical battery assembly and research applications. It provides stable and repeatable welding performance for attaching nickel tabs (0.02–0.2 mm thick) to cell casings, ensuring low resistance and strong mechanical bonding.

With adjustable pneumatic pressure and multi-pulse welding modes (single, double, or multiple pulses), the system offers precise control over weld strength, temperature, and duration. Its compact benchtop design and high welding current output (up to 3000 A) make it ideal for laboratory-scale lithium-ion and sodium-ion cylindrical cell R&D environments.

Key Features

Wide Tab Thickness Compatibility
Supports nickel tab welding from 0.02 mm to 0.2 mm, accommodating diverse experimental setups.

Multiple Pulse Modes
Select between single, double, or multiple welding pulses to optimise weld quality and bonding strength.

Adjustable Pneumatic Pressure
Allows fine-tuning of welding force to match tab thickness and material type for consistent results.

Compact Benchtop Design
Space-saving and ergonomically designed for easy integration into laboratory workspaces.

Reliable Welding Performance
Provides stable current delivery and robust weld joints, ensuring high repeatability and safety.

FAQ

Q1: What materials can this machine weld?
It is primarily designed for nickel and nickel-plated steel tabs, commonly used in cylindrical cell assembly.

Q2: Can it support different pulse welding modes?
Yes. It supports single, double, and multi-pulse operation for flexible weld control.

Q3: What air pressure range is recommended?
Typical working pressure ranges between 0.4–0.8 MPa, adjustable to suit different material thicknesses.

Q4: Is it suitable for pouch or prismatic cells?
It is primarily optimised for cylindrical cells, but custom electrode heads can be supplied for other formats.

Q5: How is maintenance handled?
The system requires minimal maintenance; periodic electrode tip cleaning ensures long-term stability.
