Cell Lab Porous Graphene Foam [50 × 50 × 1.2 mm, for Sensors & Energy Devices] – CVD-Fabricated 3D Conductive Carbon Framework

Ultra-light graphene foam substrate for batteries, supercapacitors and advanced sensor applications

The Cell Lab Porous Graphene Foam is an ultra-lightweight, three-dimensional carbon framework fabricated by chemical vapour deposition (CVD). It combines graphene’s intrinsic high electrical conductivity, mechanical resilience and flexibility within a porous, interconnected structure.

This material serves as an ideal substrate for battery electrodes, supercapacitors, and sensor devices, as well as in EMI shielding and solar–thermal conversion research. The nickel scaffold provides structural support, allowing easy transfer, handling, and integration in experimental systems. Each sheet is sealed in a protective membrane box to maintain surface quality and prevent contamination.

Key Features

CVD-Fabricated Graphene Network
Combines exceptional electrical conductivity, mechanical strength and elasticity for multi-functional energy and sensing applications.

Ultra-Low Density (4 mg/cm³)
Maintains structural integrity while contributing negligible mass in high-precision systems.

Large Pore Architecture (~580 μm)
Facilitates gas diffusion and ion transport, enhancing charge transfer in electrochemical cells.

Nickel Support Scaffold
Improves handling strength and ensures mechanical stability during device fabrication.

Protected Packaging
Delivered in sealed membrane boxes to preserve integrity during transport and storage.

FAQ

Q1: Is this graphene foam freestanding?
Yes. It is grown on a nickel scaffold that can be etched away if a freestanding graphene structure is required.

Q2: What is the advantage of CVD graphene foam over powdered graphene?
CVD graphene foam offers continuous 3D conductive networks with better mechanical strength and charge transport.

Q3: Can I request larger or thicker samples?
Yes. Custom dimensions and thicknesses are available upon request for research and pilot production use.

Q4: Is the nickel substrate removable?
Yes. It can be chemically etched using standard acid treatment to yield a pure graphene skeleton.

Q5: What is the storage recommendation?
Keep sealed in the membrane box in a dry environment to avoid oxidation or moisture absorption.
