Cell Lab Pneumatic Electrode Die Cutter [Glovebox-Compatible | Punch-Type Cell Use | Precision Electrode Cutting Machine]

High-accuracy pneumatic cutter for electrode punching in pouch cell and solid-state battery R&D

The Cell Lab Pneumatic Electrode Die Cutter is a compact, high-precision system designed for cutting electrode sheets during pouch cell fabrication. Using a pneumatic drive for consistent pressure delivery, it ensures clean, burr-free cuts and uniform dimensions across anode and cathode electrodes. Its glovebox-compatible structure and flexible die options make it ideal for research laboratories working with lithium-ion and solid-state battery materials.

Key Features

  • Pneumatic Precision Cutting: Stable air pressure enables sharp, repeatable cutting with ±0.1 mm accuracy.

  • Glovebox-Compatible Design: Compact 350 × 230 × 300 mm footprint supports safe operation inside Ar/N₂ environments.

  • Customisable Die Sizes: Includes standard anode (58 × 45 mm) and cathode (56 × 43 mm) dies; other sizes available on request.

  • Robust Punching Capacity: Handles up to 0.5 mm aluminium-laminated film or coated electrodes with reliable performance.

  • Research-Optimised Integration: Ideal for laboratory pouch cell forming, stacking, and sealing processes.

    FAQ

Q1: Is the die cutter compatible with gloveboxes?
Yes. It is designed for glovebox environments using argon or nitrogen as the compressed gas source.

Q2: What are the standard die sizes included?
Standard anode (58 × 45 mm) and cathode (56 × 43 mm) dies are supplied; custom sizes can be made.

Q3: What materials can be processed?
It supports coated copper/aluminium foils, electrode sheets, and aluminium-laminated films up to 0.5 mm thick.

Q4: How is the pressure controlled?
The unit uses stable pneumatic pressure (0.5–1.0 MPa) for consistent cutting performance.

Q5: Can this cutter be used outside gloveboxes?
Yes. It can operate with compressed air (0.7 MPa), but only argon or nitrogen should be used inside gloveboxes.
