Cell Lab Hydraulic Electrode Die Cutter [Manual Operation | Glovebox Compatible | Precision Battery Electrode Cutter]

Compact hydraulic cutter for precision pouch cell electrode shaping in glovebox environments

The Cell Lab Hydraulic Electrode Die Cutter is a laboratory-grade manual cutting system designed for precise shaping of battery electrode sheets. Driven by stable hydraulic pressure, it provides clean, burr-free cuts while maintaining uniform dimensions across multiple samples. Its glovebox-compatible structure, compact footprint, and long-life knife system make it ideal for lithium-ion and solid-state pouch cell research.

Key Features

  • Hydraulic Pressure Cutting: Delivers sharp, clean edges with reliable dimensional repeatability.

  • Glovebox-Compatible Design: Compact 330 × 290 × 330 mm size allows safe operation in argon or nitrogen glovebox environments.

  • Customisable Die Sizes: Standard dies (72 × 38 mm or 74 × 40 mm) included; optional dies up to 120 × 100 mm available upon request.

  • Durable Knife System: Hardened cutting blades rated for more than 30,000 cycles before replacement.

  • Ideal for Pouch Cell Preparation: Optimised for pre-stacking electrode shaping in lithium-ion and solid-state battery R&D.

    FAQ

Q1: Is this die cutter compatible with gloveboxes?
Yes. The compact design allows safe manual operation inside gloveboxes filled with argon or nitrogen.

Q2: What die sizes are supported?
Standard 72 × 38 mm or 74 × 40 mm dies are included; custom die dimensions up to 120 × 100 mm can be provided.

Q3: How often should the knife set be replaced?
Each knife set is rated for over 30,000 cycles under standard lab use.

Q4: What materials can it cut?
It is suitable for coated electrodes, copper and aluminium foils, and laminated film composites.

Q5: Does it require an external power supply?
No. This is a manually operated hydraulic system—ideal for environments where electrical devices are restricted.
