Dual-Mode Hydrostatic Powder Compaction with Electric & Manual Operation
The Cell Lab 60T Electrical Cold Isostatic Press (CIP) is designed for compacting powdered materials into dense, homogeneous billets using uniform hydrostatic pressure. Unlike conventional uniaxial presses, CIP applies equal pressure from all directions, producing crack-free and distortion-resistant green bodies ideal for ceramics, metals, and composites.
This upgraded model features dual pressurisation modes – manual control for precision adjustment and electric pressurisation for flexible, efficient operation. The hybrid system enables users to balance accuracy and productivity, making it suitable for both laboratory research and pilot-scale material production.
Dual pressurisation modes – Combines manual precision control with efficient electric pressurisation.
High-pressure performance – Chamber pressure up to 300 MPa for ceramics, metals, and composite powders.
Large sample capacity – 50 mm ID vessel supports samples up to Ø50 × 150 mm.
Safety-first design – Plexiglass protective safety shield ensures operator safety during high-pressure testing.
Durable construction – High-strength alloy vessel and piston engineered for long service life.

Q1: What is the advantage of electrical pressurisation?
A: Electric mode provides stable and efficient pressurisation, while manual mode allows fine adjustments for precise control.
Q2: What is the maximum sample size supported?
A: The vessel accommodates samples up to Ø50 × 150 mm.
Q3: How high is the pressure capability?
A: The chamber supports pressures up to 300 MPa, ensuring high-density compaction.
Q4: Can this be used for battery R&D?
A: Yes. It is suitable for pressing solid-state electrolytes and lithium-based battery materials.
Q5: Is a digital pressure gauge available?
A: Yes. A digital gauge can be added at additional cost for improved accuracy.
