High-performance glove box system designed for controlled, inert environments in laboratory applications
The Cell Lab Economy Compact Stainless Steel Glove Box provides a controlled, high-purity environment for experiments involving air-sensitive or moisture-reactive materials.
By circulating high-purity inert gases and filtering out O₂, H₂O, and organic vapours, the system maintains stable, contamination-free working conditions for sensitive processes such as battery R&D, semiconductor fabrication, chemical synthesis, and materials science research.
Its integrated vacuum antechamber allows safe transfer of samples without compromising the internal atmosphere, while the 304 stainless steel body ensures durability and corrosion resistance.
This compact model offers excellent visibility, robust sealing, and optional modules for expanded functionality, making it ideal for small laboratories or research groups seeking reliable inert-atmosphere performance.
Controlled Inert Environment – Efficient circulation and filtration system remove O₂, H₂O, and organics, maintaining ultra-low contamination.
Integrated Antechamber – Provides safe and efficient transfer of materials without breaking the glove box atmosphere.
High Durability – Constructed from 304 stainless steel for exceptional strength and corrosion resistance.
Clear Observation Window – Large tempered glass panel allows excellent visibility for delicate operations.
Customisable Accessories – Compatible with optional modules such as vacuum pumps, humidity/oxygen analysers, and support stands.

Cell Lab compact glove boxes are ideal for:
Battery research and solid-state materials – handling lithium, sodium, and moisture-sensitive electrode materials.
Semiconductor and microelectronics – processing wafers and reactive components under inert gas conditions.
Chemical synthesis and catalysis – performing oxygen- and moisture-free reactions.
Material science and metallurgy – storage and manipulation of air-reactive powders and metals.
Pharmaceutical and academic research – safe handling of sensitive compounds or sealed atmosphere experiments.
Q1: What gases can be used in this glove box?
A: It supports high-purity inert gases such as argon and nitrogen, ensuring stable O₂ and H₂O levels below 1 ppm when connected to a purification unit.
Q2: Can this glove box operate without a purification system?
A: Yes. It can be used as a basic vacuum-type glove box for small-scale operations or connected to a purification unit for long-term inert conditions.
Q3: How is the antechamber used?
A: The antechamber serves as an intermediate transfer zone. Materials are loaded, evacuated to –0.1 MPa, optionally flushed with inert gas, then introduced into the main chamber.
Q4: Can lighting and power outlets be customised?
A: Yes. Internal lighting, additional sockets, or vacuum gauges can be configured upon request.
Q5: What maintenance is required?
A: Regular inspection of seals, O-rings, and connectors ensures long-term airtight performance. Clean with ethanol or compatible solvents to avoid residue build-up.
