Cell Lab Digital Display Viscometer [For Battery Slurry, 1–2×10⁶ mPa·s Range | Electrode Coating Rheology Tester]

High-precision viscosity measurement for cathode and anode slurry formulation in lithium battery R&D

The Cell Lab Digital Display Viscometer is engineered for monitoring and controlling the viscosity of electrode slurries during the mixing and coating process. As viscosity directly affects coating uniformity, adhesion, and electrode performance, this viscometer provides researchers with reliable, repeatable, and accurate measurements across an ultra-wide viscosity range. With an intuitive LED digital interface and stable multi-speed operation, it is perfectly suited for both laboratory research and pilot-scale battery production.

Key Features

  • Ultra-Wide Viscosity Range: Measures from 1 to 2×10⁶ mPa·s, meeting both cathode and anode slurry requirements.

  • Multi-Speed Rotation Control: Eight selectable speeds (0.3–60 RPM) for flexible testing of different slurry types.

  • High Measurement Accuracy: ±2 % accuracy with ±1 % repeatability for Newtonian fluids ensures consistent results.

  • LED Digital Display: Provides clear real-time readout and easy control for continuous or timed testing.

  • Stable Laboratory Operation: Optimised for controlled environments with excellent repeatability during extended use.

FAQ

Q1: What viscosity range does this model cover?
It measures between 1 mPa·s and 2×10⁶ mPa·s, suitable for both low- and high-viscosity battery slurries.

Q2: Is it applicable for both cathode and anode formulations?
Yes. It supports all major electrode materials including graphite, Si-C, LFP, and NCM systems.

Q3: Does this model include temperature measurement?
This version does not include temperature control; optional models with temperature probes are available.

Q4: How accurate are the results?
The viscometer offers ±2 % measurement accuracy and ±1 % repeatability under controlled conditions.

Q5: Can it be used continuously?
Yes. The unit supports both timed testing (40 s – 100 min) and continuous monitoring modes.
