High-performance conductive paper for energy storage, catalysis, and flexible electronics
The Cell Lab Conductive Carbon Paper is a lightweight, flexible, and high-conductivity graphite substrate engineered for advanced battery, fuel cell, and supercapacitor research. With excellent porosity, gas permeability, and electrochemical stability, it enables efficient charge and mass transport in energy conversion systems.
This carbon paper also finds extensive use in microbial fuel cells, water splitting devices, and flexible electronics, making it a reliable platform for next-generation clean-energy technologies. Custom sizes and thicknesses are available to meet laboratory and pilot-scale needs.
High Electrical Conductivity
Low resistivity of 3 mΩ/cm² delivers rapid electron transport for batteries and electrochemical devices.
Flexible & Durable Structure
Bending radius > 10 cm enables integration into flexible and wearable electronic applications.
High Porosity & Gas Permeability
75% porosity and < 12 mm H₂O gas barrier resistance enhance ion transport and gas exchange.
Chemical Stability & Lightweight Design
Made from high-purity graphite with a density of 0.78 g/cm³, offering excellent corrosion resistance and low mass.
Customisable Dimensions
Standard sheet size 210 × 200 mm with optional custom formats to fit specific test systems.

Q1: Can the carbon paper be used as a current collector?
Yes. Its excellent conductivity and low mass make it ideal as a current collector in various battery and fuel cell systems.
Q2: How should the material be handled for long-term experiments?
Store in a dry, dust-free environment and avoid mechanical folding to maintain surface integrity.
Q3: Is the carbon paper hydrophobic or hydrophilic?
It is naturally hydrophobic but can be modified via surface treatment to enhance wetting behaviour for specific applications.
Q4: Can this paper withstand high temperature operations?
Yes. It remains dimensionally stable in typical fuel-cell and battery operating temperatures (up to 400 °C in inert atmosphere).
Q5: Are custom thicknesses available for prototype development?
Yes. Thickness and porosity can be adjusted upon request for research and pilot-production projects.
