General Description

Cell Lab 4N5 (99.995%) Selenium Sputtering Target is a precision-manufactured, high-purity target designed for thin film deposition in semiconductor, photovoltaic, and optoelectronic applications. Selenium is a non-metallic, gray material with a metallic lustre, valued for its excellent photoconductivity and photovoltaic properties.
It is commonly used for CdSe and CIGS thin-film solar cells, X-ray photoconductors, and antibacterial coatings on implants. Despite its relatively high vapour pressure, careful process control enables stable sputtering and uniform thin-film formation.
