High-Purity Titanium Pellets for Thin-Film Coating and Metallurgical Applications
Cell Lab 3N5 (99.95%) Titanium (Ti) Pellets are high-purity evaporation materials designed for advanced thin-film deposition, metallurgical research, and high-precision coating applications. Combining exceptional strength, low density, and excellent corrosion resistance, titanium pellets are widely used in vacuum evaporation, electron-beam coating, and physical vapour deposition (PVD) systems.
Their uniform spherical shape ensures consistent evaporation rates and smooth, defect-free coatings, making them ideal for optical coatings, microelectronics, and energy material research.
High Purity 99.95% (3N5) – Guarantees low contamination levels for reliable and repeatable results.
Superior Thermal & Mechanical Stability – Withstands high temperatures up to 1660 °C with excellent oxidation resistance.
Optimised for Thin-Film Deposition – Ideal for e-beam and thermal evaporation with TiC, TiB₂–BN, or tungsten boats.
Consistent Spherical Pellets – Uniform size distribution ensures even heating and smooth film formation.
Customisable Options – Diameter, purity, and packaging available upon request for specialised R&D or industrial use.

Q1: What are titanium pellets used for in thin-film deposition?
They act as evaporation sources in PVD and e-beam coating systems, enabling uniform metallic films for optical, semiconductor, or protective coatings.
Q2: Are the pellets compatible with tungsten boats?
Yes, titanium can be evaporated using tungsten boats or TiC/TiB₂–BN crucibles depending on your setup.
Q3: Can I request a different purity level or size?
Yes, Cell Lab offers custom purities (up to 4N5) and varied pellet diameters to suit your specific vacuum coating equipment.
Q4: What’s the recommended storage condition?
Store in a dry, inert atmosphere to prevent oxidation. Handle with clean tools and avoid moisture exposure.
