High-Purity Refractory Metal for Thin-Film and Vacuum Coating Applications
Cell Lab 3N5 (99.95%) Tantalum (Ta) Pellets are designed for thermal and e-beam evaporation in thin-film deposition, semiconductor fabrication, and optical coating industries. As a rare and highly corrosion-resistant refractory metal, Tantalum exhibits exceptional mechanical stability, high melting point (3 017 °C), and excellent electrical conductivity, making it a preferred choice for electronic devices, x-ray optics, and superconducting films.
Its high purity ensures clean deposition and consistent film uniformity under high vacuum. These pellets are fully compatible with graphite crucible liners, enabling smooth evaporation with minimal contamination.
99.95% Ultra-High Purity – Guarantees stable, contamination-free film quality.
Superior Corrosion Resistance – Ideal for harsh chemical and vacuum environments.
High-Temperature Stability – Maintains structure and conductivity up to 3 000 °C.
E-Beam and Thermal Compatible – Excellent evaporation performance for precision coatings.
Customisable Geometry – Available in multiple diameters, lengths, and weights.

Q1: What makes Tantalum ideal for thin-film applications?
Its exceptional melting point, chemical stability, and low vapour pressure produce films with high purity and uniform adhesion.
Q2: Can these pellets be used in E-Beam deposition?
Yes. Their high density and purity ensure smooth evaporation with minimal spitting during E-Beam use.
Q3: Are other geometries available?
Yes. Cell Lab offers custom dimensions, shapes, and packing weights for pilot or industrial use.
Q4: What crucible materials are recommended?
Graphite liners are ideal due to their excellent thermal conductivity and chemical compatibility with Tantalum.
