High-Purity Optical and Thin-Film Coating Material
Cell Lab 3N Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) Evaporation Materials are high-purity, water-insoluble white solids supplied in uniform 3–6 mm pieces. TiO₂ is well-known for its exceptional refractive index, thermal stability, and chemical inertness, making it one of the most widely used materials in optical coatings, dielectric mirrors, and thin-film deposition.
In addition to its established role as a pigment in paint, sunscreen, and food colouring, high-purity TiO₂ also serves as a superior reflective and dielectric material for advanced coating applications in optics and semiconductor industries.
High Optical Reflectivity – Excellent for dielectric mirrors, optical filters, and reflective coatings.
Superior Chemical Stability – Inert to most acids and alkalis, ensuring durability in deposition processes.
High Melting Point (1830 °C) – Suitable for high-temperature evaporation and thin-film applications.
Versatile Deposition Methods – Compatible with both electron-beam and thermal evaporation systems.
Customisable Options – Available in multiple pack sizes with adjustable purity and dimensions upon request.

Q1: What makes TiO₂ ideal for optical coatings?
Its high refractive index and strong light-scattering properties enable superior reflectivity and brightness in dielectric mirror and optical filter applications.
Q2: Can this product be used in E-beam evaporation systems?
Yes, TiO₂ performs well under both E-beam and thermal evaporation when used with appropriate crucible liners (graphite or tantalum).
Q3: What precautions should be taken during use?
Use in a clean, controlled environment to avoid contamination. Ensure proper vacuum conditions to achieve uniform thin films.
Q4: Are larger pack sizes or custom shapes available?
Yes. Cell Lab can provide customised batch sizes, purity levels, and geometries upon request for R&D or industrial-scale deposition.
