High-capacity vacuum planetary mixer for uniform, bubble-free slurry preparation in lithium battery R&D and pilot production
The Cell Lab 30L Vacuum Planetary Mixer is a high-performance dual-axis mixing system designed for large-volume slurry preparation under vacuum conditions. Combining planetary rotation and revolution, it ensures exceptional dispersion uniformity and bubble-free results for lithium-ion battery electrodes, phosphors, ceramics, and other advanced materials.
Built with a robust 304 stainless steel chamber, independent dual-motor drives, and a PLC touchscreen control interface, this system provides precise control over speed, temperature, and vacuum level. A circulating water jacket allows heating, cooling, or insulation within a -10 °C to 120 °C range, making it ideal for pilot-scale battery R&D and material synthesis.
High-Efficiency Dual-Axis Mixing:
Planetary and rotational motion deliver superior kneading and shearing, ensuring consistent slurry uniformity and dispersion.
30L Pilot-Scale Working Capacity:
Effective 15–30 L working volume within a 45 L barrel, optimised for medium-scale R&D or pre-production processes.
Vacuum Mixing with Temperature Control:
Integrated –0.098 MPa vacuum chamber and water-jacketed design support heating/cooling from –10 °C to 120 °C.
Independent Mixing & Dispersion Drives:
Dual 4 kW motors enable adjustable impeller (8–83 rpm) and disperser (540–5400 rpm) speeds for flexible operation.
Durable Stainless Steel Construction:
Fabricated from SUS 304, featuring ports for vacuum, exhaust, liquid feed, and a digital vacuum gauge with viewing window.

Q1: What materials is this mixer suitable for?
It is ideal for lithium battery slurries (LFP, NCM, Si–C), ceramic suspensions, and viscous compounds requiring vacuum dispersion.
Q2: Does it include a vacuum pump?
A compatible vacuum pump is optional and can be supplied with the system.
Q3: What are the benefits of the dual-motor design?
Independent motors allow precise control of rotation and dispersion, improving homogeneity and preventing material stratification.
Q4: Can the jacket system provide both heating and cooling?
Yes. It supports thermal circulation between –10 °C and 120 °C for optimal process temperature control.
Q5: Is the system suitable for industrial pilot-scale use?
Absolutely. The 30 L model bridges the gap between laboratory R&D and small-scale production, ensuring scalability and consistency.
