Cell Lab 1M LiPF₆ Electrolyte Solution in EC/DMC/DEC (1:1:1) [High Purity, Low Moisture] – Battery-Grade Electrolyte for Lithium-Ion Cells

High-performance electrolyte engineered for stable ionic conductivity and superior battery cycling

The Cell Lab 1M LiPF₆ Electrolyte Solution is a high-purity, low-moisture formulation designed specifically for lithium-ion battery research and prototype fabrication. It contains 1 mol/L LiPF₆ dissolved in a balanced EC/DMC/DEC (1:1:1 v/v/v) solvent mixture, optimised to deliver excellent ionic mobility, low viscosity, and superior electrochemical stability.

Ideal for use in coin cells, pouch cells, and cylindrical formats, this electrolyte ensures consistent performance across a broad range of cathode and anode materials including NMC, LFP, and graphite systems. Custom formulations are available upon request, including different solvent ratios, additives (VC, FEC, LiBOB), and alternative salts such as LiTFSI or LiFSI.

Key Features

High Purity & Low Moisture
Moisture content ≤ 10 ppm for maximum electrochemical stability and minimal side reactions.

Optimised Solvent Ratio (EC/DMC/DEC = 1:1:1)
Balanced ionic conductivity (10.0 ± 0.5 mS/cm) and low viscosity for high-rate cycling.

Broad Material Compatibility
Suitable for NMC, LFP, LCO, and graphite electrode systems.

Customisable Formulations
Solvent ratios, electrolyte salts, and functional additives available for R&D optimisation.

Secure Packaging & Handling
Sealed in stainless steel containers under dry argon atmosphere; hazmat compliant for safe shipping.

FAQ

Q1: Can I request a different solvent ratio (e.g., EC/DMC = 1:1)?
Yes. Cell Lab provides customisable solvent ratios and additive formulations for specific R&D requirements.

Q2: Is this electrolyte compatible with LFP or NMC systems?
Yes. It is fully compatible with most commercial and research-grade cathode materials.

Q3: How should I remove moisture before filling cells?
Ensure the electrolyte and cell components are dried under vacuum or inert atmosphere prior to assembly.

Q4: Does the solution contain additives like FEC or LiBOB?
The standard formula includes 1% VC; other additives can be integrated on request.

Q5: What is the expected shelf life?
Up to 12 months under sealed, dry storage conditions below 30 °C.
