High-purity, moisture-controlled electrolyte for sodium-ion battery research and coin-cell development
The Cell Lab 1 M Sodium Hexafluorophosphate (NaPF₆) in Diethylene Glycol Dimethyl Ether (DGM) is a laboratory-grade electrolyte formulated for sodium-ion (Na-ion) battery applications. Combining high ionic conductivity with excellent electrode compatibility, it ensures stable electrochemical performance in both half-cell and full-cell systems. With ultra-low moisture content (≤10 ppm) and stringent purity control, this electrolyte is ideal for glovebox handling and precision research in next-generation sodium-based energy storage.
Optimised for Na-Ion Batteries: 1 M NaPF₆ in DGM composition ensures high ionic conductivity and interfacial stability.
Ultra-Low Moisture Content: ≤10 ppm water level prevents parasitic reactions and degradation during cycling.
High Purity & Stability: Formulated under inert conditions to guarantee consistency and long-term shelf life.
Lab-Ready Packaging: Supplied in 1 kg bottles, suitable for coin-cell assembly and prototype battery fabrication.
Customisable Formulations: Solvent systems and volume ratios can be tailored upon request for specific research needs.

Q1: What is the solvent system in this electrolyte?
It uses diethylene glycol dimethyl ether (DGM), known for high ionic mobility and sodium-ion compatibility.
Q2: Can this electrolyte be used in coin-cell assembly?
Yes. The 1 kg bottle is ideal for glovebox dispensing during Na-ion coin-cell fabrication.
Q3: Why is low moisture content important?
Water contamination leads to hydrolysis of NaPF₆ and generation of HF, which can degrade electrodes.
Q4: Are custom solvent ratios available?
Yes. Cell Lab provides tailored electrolyte blends for specific voltage windows or temperature ranges.
Q5: How should the electrolyte be stored?
Store tightly sealed in a glovebox or inert environment below 30 °C to maintain purity and prevent degradation.
