Large-capacity sintering crucibles for high-temperature metal casting and chemical calcination
Cell Lab high-purity alumina (Al₂O₃) cylindrical crucibles offer exceptional thermal stability, hardness, and chemical inertness. With a melting point above 1600 °C and purity > 99 %, they are ideal for chemical calcination, ceramic synthesis, metal melting, and powder sintering.
Each crucible is precisely engineered for uniform heating and thermal shock resistance. Optional matching lids are available to minimise contamination and evaporation during high-temperature operations.
Note – Crucibles are classified as consumables and not covered by warranty. For best performance, pre-dry at 105 °C for 2 hours before first use and maintain a heating/cooling rate below 5 °C min⁻¹ (<1200 °C) or 4 °C min⁻¹ (>1200 °C).

Q1: What is the recommended pre-treatment before using alumina crucibles?
A: Dry the crucible at 105 °C for 2 hours to remove moisture before use.
Q2: How fast can the crucible be heated?
A: Do not exceed 5 °C min⁻¹ below 1200 °C and 4 °C min⁻¹ above 1200 °C to avoid thermal shock.
Q3: Can I request customised sizes or shapes?
A: Yes — we offer custom diameters, depths, and wall thickness upon request.
Q4: Are lids included?
A: Lids are available separately for each capacity option.
Q5: Are these crucibles covered by warranty?
A: As consumables, crucibles are not warranted; please report any quality issues within one week of delivery.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
