Cell Lab Aluminium Oxide (Al₂O₃) Precision Balls are manufactured from high-purity 99.7 % Al₂O₃ ceramic, offering exceptional hardness, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability. Their excellent roundness and surface finish make them ideal for bearing assemblies, valves, calibration standards, and precision instruments operating under harsh conditions.
These ceramic balls maintain performance even at elevated temperatures and in corrosive environments, though they are not recommended for strong acids or alkalis.
Custom sizes (0.8 mm – 76.2 mm) and precision grades (G20 – G100) are available upon request to support both industrial and research applications.

Q1: What does “G20 precision” mean?
A: It indicates a high level of sphericity and surface finish according to ISO 3290 / ANSI standards — tolerances within 0.5 µm for typical diameters.
Q2: Are these balls chemically resistant?
A: Yes, they resist most neutral and oxidising environments but should not be used in strong acids or alkalis.
Q3: Can I order different sizes or tolerances?
A: Yes — Cell Lab offers custom manufacturing from 0.8 mm to 76.2 mm and precision grades G20 – G100.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
